Job Description
As an Industry Consulting Manager, you will join our team in Melbourne, Australia, to provide expert advice on coding and classification. You will work closely with our client, the Client Data Services Unit (DSU), to ensure the quality of coded data used by various areas in the department. This includes supporting critical activities such as funding impact decisions, safety, and quality monitoring, and improving patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Health information management qualification and/or clinical coding qualification and experience
Experience working in a clinical coding function in a health provider organization such as hospitals
A minimum of 5 years plus experience in project delivery as a business analyst in the health sector
Extensive experience with documenting business requirements and functional design through user stories, wireframes, screen mockups, etc.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to lead workshops and work directly with solution stakeholders
Negotiate and resolve problems, challenging opinions where necessary to achieve quality solutions
Prior experience in working with government organizations
