HCA Instructor Needed Urgently
HCA Instructor Theory Clinical
Role: The HCA Instructor holds a crucial position in providing top-notch education for aspiring Health
Care Assistants programs.
Responsibilities include teaching the HCA program, encompassing lectures, clinical instruction, and both classroom and laboratory sessions.
Requirements:
Current licensure as a registered nurse with BCCNM
Must hold a license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
Demonstrated expertise in gerontology, with a focus on working with older adults
Strong foundation in current clinical practices
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Strong, current clinical practice foundation in gerontology, including working with older adults with complex health care needs
Responsibilities:
Instruct HCA classes. The HCA Instructor plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to aspiring Health Care Assistants programs.
The HCA instructor will be expected to teach HCA program, including lectures and clinical. In classroom and laboratory teaching.
Develop and maintain course materials, including recorded lectures, learning objectives, and quizzes, to support classroom and blended delivery methods
Support students with academic inquiries and difficulties, providing guidance during designated office hours within the classroom and combined delivery model
Manage and evaluate assignments, quizzes, and exams to assess student progress in both classroom and combined delivery settings
Continuously evaluate the efficacy of the classroom teaching approach and refine teaching methodologies
Revise, design, and implement the curriculum for the HCA program
Collaborate with the HCA Coordinator, President, and IT professional to ensure a unified approach to program delivery, emphasizing blended delivery practices
Ensure accessibility of program materials for all students, following inclusive teaching methods within the combined delivery model.
