Job Description
One of our key clients is a 1+7+ established and Noida Headquartered, the leading manufacturer and supplier of Tactical Infrastructure solutions which include - Telescopic Masts, Tripods & Pedestals; Power solutions for Telecom, Healthcare & Battery Electric Vehicles. They also offer Box Build Manufacturing Services which includes - Precision Machining, Sheet Metal, Electronic Assembly & System Assembly. The clientele include - global leaders in Telecom, Hi-tech, and automotive. They are also key strategic suppliers for the defence sector in key global markets.
Job Purpose:
Ensure that all products manufactured meet established quality standards by overseeing quality control processes, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and working with different departments to maintain consistent quality throughout the production cycle; this includes adhering to industry regulations, identifying and addressing quality issues, and promoting continuous improvement practices to optimize product quality and customer satisfaction
Key responsibilities
• Developing and implementing of Corporate Quality Strategy and Transformation plan by providing advises based on Lean, Business processes
• Establishing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS), achieving AS+100 certification, and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.
• Developing Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMP), specifications, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Developing Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) and supporting system qualification and compliance documentation
• Ensuring adherence to industry standards and minimizing defects
• Driving innovation and excellence in operations.
• Implementing statistical process approaches to control manufacturing
• Designing and Implementing the Supplier Evaluation methodology “IMARQ” to improve supply chain effectiveness. Managing supplier upgrades for quality rating advancement and new supplier evaluation
• Reducing inspection cycle time through adoption of attributes and waste elimination in processes
• Improving CAPA (Corrective / Preventive actions) from each segment on their initiative to improve results
• Ensuring all NCs identified in audits are closed and its effectiveness is monitored
• implementation of ERP (SAP by Design) by leading Quality, Production, Customer support modules
• Warranty Cost Reduction through design and process modifications / improvements.
Preferred Profile
• Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering with atleast 15+ years of experience of which last 3+ years leading and managing Quality function at a reputed electronics / electromechanical products manufacturing company
• Certified - Lean Six Sigma blackbelt; and Internal Auditor for ISO+001:2015
• Indepth knowledge of Quality systems for Hardware and Software, ISO +001, Aerospace standards AS+100
• Hands-on experience of PPAP, APQP, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective/ preventive actions (CAPA), First Article Inspection (FAI), Production & Factory Acceptance Testing.
