Head Pastry Chef

Job Brief: We are looking for a Head Pastry Chef with 10+ years of relevant experience specialized in Pastry/Bakery and minimum of 3-5 years as Head of the Dept. Should posses a minimum qualification of Degree/Diploma in Pastry from an accredited institution. Position Summary: As a Head Pastry Chef, you are responsible for the entire operation of the Kitchen, while assisting the management with production according to daily requirements and supervision of subordinates to ensure product quality. You should be well-versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. Responsibilities: · Maintaining production logs/inventory/waste reports/back of the house production list · Preparation of duty roaster/training Staff/holding staff accountable for production execution as per the company standard · Able to develop, designs, or creates new ideas, menus and items for Pastry Kitchen and engage the interest of customers · Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking · Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately · Must possess a positive attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with co-workers efficiently and effectively · Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards · Should interact with the guests to know the GSI and work accordingly About the Company Since opening in 1++6, Magnolia Bakery has become the most widely recognized bakery in the world.
