Job Description
Role Responsibilities
The job holder is responsible for enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Requisition to Pay (R2P) processes and controls supporting the Group and the countries. The role will have operational responsibility of end-to-end Requisition to Pay processes with a standard operating model that creates and protects value for the Bank.
The R2P processes include the following Level 2 processes :
• Vendor master
• Requisition and Order management support
• Invoice/Payment Processing
• Manual payment dispensation
• Expense Management (T&E Assurance Review)
• Exceptions Management
• P-Cards Administration
• Staff master data management
• GDAM Maintenance
• Payment Reconciliation
• Remediation activities
• International Mobilty – Functions Payment Operations
• R2P Helpdesk
• R2P QA (Pass 1, 2 & POL review)
The role will work very closely with the GFS, Country CFOs, Country Finance Department and Supply Chain Management teams in ensuring all requirements related to payment to third parties are enabled and adequate controls are built into the end to end "Requisition to Pay" process.
As the Bank continually improves its financial accounting, reporting and control capabilities, the role is expected to advise on current capabilities, optimisation opportunities and help iteratively increase automation, improve controls and increase efficiency.
The overall job purpose consist of ensuring that the processes supporting cost accounting and controls are:
• in compliance with bank's policies and standards;
• efficient and highly automated;
• supporting business management needs through the required MIS to drive management decisions and efficiencies.
