Key Responsibilities
As head of the government litigation team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of lawyers who conduct commercial litigation on behalf of the government.
You will work closely with external delivery partners, such as counsel, to ensure the successful delivery of litigation and disputes work.
Additionally, you will provide legal advice on litigation, disputes, and contentious matters across a range of clients and support the Deputy Director for the team in delivering the team's work.
Your expertise will be utilised to proactively and collaboratively work with external delivery partners, helping to quality control their work and hold them to account for delivery to time, cost, and quality.
