Engineering Head

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Engineering to lead all engineering functions, with a focus on New Product Development (NPD), process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep expertise in GDT, technical drawing interpretation, and hands-on experience in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities
• Lead the engineering team to deliver quality designs and process plans
• Drive NPD projects from concept to production
• Review technical drawings using GDT expertise
• Develop PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Sheets, and PFDs
• Manage SAP for BOMs, routing, and material data
• Oversee engineering budgets and cost control
• Conduct risk analysis and implement CAPA
• Resolve technical queries from teams and customers
• Maintain Route Cards and configuration/accounting systems
• Collaborate with quality, production, and supply chain teams
• Analyze and improve engineering and manufacturing processes
• Mentor team members for growth and performance
• Represent engineering in reviews and audits

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Industrial Engineering.
• Certifications in Six Sigma, Project Management are a plus.
• Experience with tools like AutoCAD, CATIA, or SolidWorks is add advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience: 7 to 8 years
