Job Description
Position: Country Head International Bank
Country Head – India, International Bank based in Mumbai
Our client an international bank is seeking a Country Head to lead their well-established banking business operations in India.
The selected candidate would be expected to take responsibility for the overall management of the bank including strategizing business plans for the Retail, Corporate and Wholesale Banking businesses, evaluating the needs of the market in order to capitalize on market opportunities, and adjusting marketing strategies to reflect changing conditions and ensuring the development of new products and services based on the assessed needs of the market.
The Country Head would also review operational policies and procedures so as to improve productivity and execute product, industry segments, cross-sell, portfolio optimization, assets, liabilities, revenue, profit, and cost targets contributing to the achievement of the Bank’s International Banking strategic objectives with particular focus on cutting through all relevant business lines to deliver a homogeneous firmwide offering. He/she would oversee the delivery of all regulatory expectations and supervisory visits with a demonstrated rapport with key governing bodies in the country
He/she would be expected to represent the Bank at regional and international banking meetings and forums to keep abreast of key industry developments and demonstrate the Bank’s performance through leadership.
