Position: Head Finance and Accounts
Qualification: CA

Job description
Drive entire budgeting process.Ensure following activities are completed on timely basis by reportees:- Past sales analysis
Report on exceptions w.r.t 4 product market matrix quadrants.
Cost centre wise budgeting
Detailed capital expenditure plan
Funding plan
Projected P&L
Reporting to management on monthly basis in case of any deviations.
Ensure books are closed on time across branches & locations.
Ensure key observations are discussed with management before the audited numbers are released.
Regularly assess the working capital position of the company.
Arrange the working capital on timely basis based on the business position.
Monitor all factors critically in connection to working capital (accounts receivable, accounts payable & inventory) and put a review mechanism to monitor the same.
Implementation of credit control policy.
Give necessary inputs to sales & marketing, operations, purchase, etc from working capital point of view.
Regularly review CAPEX requirement and deployment of funds w.r.t. CAPEX.Ensure company has a robust mechanism to review payback of any assets deployed.
Take necessary steps in improving asset turnover ratio.Ensure robust costing system is in place.
Ensure regularly costs are updated on timely basis in terms of MHR, product costing, etc.
Strict adherence of all statutory compliances by having quick monitoring mechanism.
Responsible for all legal compliances of the entire organizationEnsure audited numbers are released on timely basis by adhering to the norms for listed company.
Review of audits (internal, statutory) happening in company.
Review deliverables of external auditor, periodicity and quality of all types of audit (internal, statutory audit, cost audits, IFC) happening in the company.
Assess the performance of auditors.Ensure all ROC & secretarial related compliances are done on time.
Adherence to companies actEnsuring board meetings are happening on timely basis.
Active participation in board meetings.Presenting the data in an analytical way to the board.Update board on current economic and business scenario on timely basis.Represent company in various forums (investor relations, etc) from listed company point of view.
Coordination with merchant bankersInvestor relationship managementAppropriate media coverageSEBI and other compliancesCommunication with stock
exchangeCoordination with independent directorsRegularly assess the risk associated in the business by having a system in place.
Ensure adequate insurance covers are taken in all areas across all locations.
