Job Description
We are a leading ethnic garment manufacturing and online fashion company with over 25 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, and selling ethnic wear for women, men, and kids across domestic and international markets.
We are currently looking to hire a Head Fashion Designer – Ethnic Wear for our Jaipur office and would appreciate your support in identifying suitable candidates for this position.
Position: Head Fashion Designer – Ethnic Wear
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
CTC: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month (depending on experience, skills, and capability)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and creative fashion designer with strong expertise in ethnic garment designing, a deep understanding of garment fit and construction, and the ability to lead a team of designers and interns.
The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of aesthetics and quality and be capable of designing ethnic garments for women, men, and kids, while maintaining high standards of design, fitting, stitching, and overall product execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of ethnic garments across categories.
• Guide and mentor a team of designers and interns.
• Ensure consistency in design quality, garment fit, and stitching standards.
• Work closely with sampling and production teams to maintain execution quality.
• Understand customer preferences and online fashion demand to create commercially successful products.
• Have working knowledge of AI-based virtual fashion designing tools to create new concepts digitally and translate them into actual garments for production.
Preferred Candidate Profile
• Strong experience in ethnic wear design.
• Good understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrics, and finishing.
• Leadership experience in handling and guiding a design team.
• Familiarity with digital/AI-assisted fashion designing tools is preferred.
• Strong creative sense with an execution-oriented approach.
