Head Chef - Bank, London
Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
The Role
We’re looking for a talented, full-time Head Chef to lead a small team, who wants to be part of an exciting project they can put their stamp on. You are driven to inspire and develop staff of all levels, excited about seasonality and produce and want to work in a people first environment.
Working closely with the GM, you will oversee an all-day brunch menu with daily lunch specials and a seasonal menu of sharing plates to accompany a focused wine and cocktail menu in the evening.
Responsibilities:
• Create and implement a seasonal changing menu, utilising local producers where possible
• Menu development & costing.
• Manage and supervise the kitchen team
• Stock control & ordering
• Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards.
• Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency and quality
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations. (We use Alert 65)
• Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen.
• Work with GM team to develop events programme
