Provide nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring but not full ICU support.
Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, ECG, and patient condition regularly.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxygen therapy as prescribed.
Assist doctors during procedures and patient assessments.
Observe for early signs of patient deterioration and escalate to ICU if required.
Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols in the HDU.
Educate patients and attendants about treatment plans and recovery process.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation and update patient records timely.
