About the Role
This position is with one of our esteemed clients in the sensor manufacturing / automotive industry.
We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Hardware Development Engineer to help develop smart air quality sensor solutions for indoor & automotive applications and emerging EV and Fuel Cell vehicles with H2 sensor.
Primary Objectives
• Design of schematics and PCB layouts for new products
• Perform HW testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications
• Simulation of electronic circuits
Key Responsibilities
• Own HW development end-to-end, considering all requirements and specifications to ensure project success
• Create new designs from scratch based on product requirements specifications
• Modify existing products to satisfy customer-specific needs
• Define and perform tests over the HW based on requirements and key characteristics
• Collaborate closely with the production line to ensure a manufacturable design
• Participate in component selection and EBOM optimization
• Participate in root cause analysis across products in collaboration with different departments
• Contribute to sensor improvement initiatives and bring new ideas
Desired Skills & Qualifications
• Master's degree in Electronics or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience as a HW engineer
• Simulation experience using tools like LTspice or equivalent
