Hardware and Network Engineer

As a Hardware and Network Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience, your responsibilities will include managing hardware, system administration, and network operations.In the realm of hardware management, you will be tasked with installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, peripherals, and associated software. It is crucial to perform routine diagnostics, upgrades, and repairs while also keeping track of an inventory of IT assets to ensure compliance with company policies.Your role in system administration will involve providing technical support to end-users for hardware and network-related issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing server hardware, operating systems, and storage systems. Regular backups of data and systems must be maintained, and disaster recovery protocols should be tested periodically.In terms of network management, you will design, configure, and implement network solutions such as LAN, WAN, and VPN. Monitoring and troubleshooting network performance issues to minimize downtime will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. It is essential to keep firewall, router, switch, and access point configurations up to date and oversee network security protocols to protect systems from potential threats.To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Possessing relevant certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator would be advantageous.With 2-5 years of experience in hardware and network engineering or similar roles, you should have proficiency in hardware diagnostics and repairs. A strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols(TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), and equipment is essential. Experience with network monitoring tools and software will further enhance your capabilities.This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
