Handyman/ Service and Repair Technician

Job Summary Statement:

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team in the position of Service and Repair Technician as soon as possible. Shipway Stairs Ltd. is a large manufacturer of stairs and railings for the homebuilding industry in the GTA and surrounding areas.

Essential Functions Responsibilities:

Complete Service Work Order according to the direction provided.
Making necessary repairs on site as per scheduled work orders.
Troubleshooting and solving issues efficiently.
Communicate with customers and homeowners.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies:

Must be able to communicate effectively (both written and oral) at all levels of the organization.
Must be organized and have excellent time management.
Must be a self-starter and work independently as well as in a group setting.
Exposure to carpentry skills prefered.
Flexible and the willingness and ability to travel daily to assigned sites.
Must be detail oriented.
Education and Training

Working at Heights (can be provided if not already obtained).
Valid G Class Drivers’ License Clean Drivers Abstract.
1-2 years’ experience with woodworking installation and service or a related field prefered. Read more
