Hand Coilers

NZSW is seeking an experienced Hand Section Spring Maker. The successful applicant will require a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the manufacture of hand fabricated springs including compression, tension, torsion springs also flat springs and wire forms.

Qualifications
You will need to be a team orientated individual able to work with others or on your own.
A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the manufacture of compression, tension, torsion springs also flat springs and wire forms.
To be confidant and skilled in the set up and running of lathes, presses, benders & straighteners, without the requirement of supervision.
Must be mechanically minded.
A full understanding and ability to read drawings.
The ability to use precision measuring equipment, vernier and micrometer.
Tool room & basic tooling experience an advantage.
You must have a high attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Requirements for all roles include
Checking produced springs to specified requirements
Read and understanding component drawings.
Completing all documentation and quality process.
Loading and unloading raw material from production equipment.
Adhere to safety procedures.
Good housekeeping practices.
Assisting other team members.
