Hairdresser (2 Positions) – Full-Time, Permanent
We are looking for two experienced Hairdressers to join our friendly salon team in Shirley, Christchurch.
Location: Shirley, Christchurch
Hours: 30–40hours per week
Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We are a professional Hair salon in Shirly, Christchurch, dedicated to providing high-quality hair design services. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hairdressers ( 2 positions)to join our friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
Consulting with clients to determine suitable hairstyles, cuts, colours, and treatments
Cutting, trimming, layering, shaping, and styling hair using a variety of techniques
Shampooing, conditioning, and treating hair and scalp
Applying colouring, bleaching, tinting, highlighting, and other chemical treatments
Straightening, perming, and performing other hair restructuring treatments
Shaving, trimming, and grooming beards and moustaches where required
Recommending hair care products and providing aftercare advice to clients
Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism
Cleaning and sanitising equipment, tools, and workstations
Assisting with general salon operations, including opening and closing procedures

Minimum Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
At least 2 years of verifiable, relevant work experience, or A relevant hairdressing qualification required
Experience in beauty therapy services will be an advantage
Good communication and customer-service skills
Sound knowledge of hair cutting, colouring, styling and Chemical treatments

Employment Details
Type of employment: Full-time, permanent
Guaranteed hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 40 hours depending on demand
Work schedule: Five days per week on a rostered basis (may include weekends and public holidays)
Pay rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on skills and experience
