Job Summary
Established salon with a bright future seeking a highly motivated Stylist/Barber to join our team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional hair styling, barbering, and grooming services that leave clients feeling confident and refreshed. Responsibilities
Perform grooming services such as straight razor shaves (if barber licensed), beard trims, and facial hair shaping with precision and care.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations; sterilize tools and workstations regularly.
Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue through upselling.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk by greeting clients, managing appointment bookings, and assisting with retail product displays.
Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, retail math skills for sales targets, and customer service excellence.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license required.
Proven experience in barbering with proficiency and advanced grooming techniques like straight razor shaves.
Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members while providing personalized consultations.
Demonstrated ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently while maintaining a professional appearance.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to accommodate client schedules.
