We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a flair for creating personalised haircuts and colour treatments, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
• Providing customised hair cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing services to clients
• Offering expert advice on hair care and styling options tailored to individual needs
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon environment
• Managing appointment bookings efficiently at the front desk and assisting clients with scheduling
• Upselling additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and salon revenue
• Mentoring junior staff members and apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge
• Performing specialised treatments such as eyelash extensions and makeup application when required
• Ensuring client satisfaction through attentive service and personalised consultations
• Managing store operations, including stock replenishment and maintaining a professional appearance of the salon
Skills
• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
• Knowledge of store management principles and retail sales techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to maximise revenue opportunities
• Mentoring abilities to support the development of junior staff or apprentices
• Organised, reliable, with a keen eye for detail in all aspects of hairdressing and salon maintenance
