The Box hair salon in Deptford’s Market Yard is a trendy hair salon that offers the latest unisex styling, colour and cutting techniques in a unique and contemporary setting. Situated at the Market Yard development by Deptford station, the salon sits in one of the meticulously restored Victorian arches under London's oldest carriage ramp.
We are looking for a hairstylist who is trend-aware, experienced and passionate about hair. Someone who gets their kicks from being creative and launching hair trends, focused, passionate and professional in every sense. Someone who offers a high level of customer care and the ability to build strong client relationships giving expert advice and delivering outstanding results.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Hairdressing is a must, with a minimum of 3 years experience with a busy London/city hairdressers- fully accomplished at cutting, styling and colouring hair to a high level. Woman's and mens hair. Balayage techniques is a must. Up-skilling and on-going training will be provided.

Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and preferences for hair styling and grooming.
• Manage store operations, including scheduling appointments and overseeing front desk activities.
• Perform hair cutting, coloring, and styling services.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new staff on best practices.
• Offer additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client experience.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
