Position: Gypsum Carpenter

Location: Dubai

Working Hours: 8 hours per day




Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

- Install gypsum boards and related materials on walls and ceilings.
- Cut and fit gypsum boards to size, ensuring precise measurements and alignment.
- Attach gypsum boards to the wall studs and ceiling joists using screws, nails, or adhesive.

Finishing:

- Tape and mud joints between gypsum boards to create a smooth surface.
- Sand and finish surfaces to prepare for painting or other treatments.
- Apply primer or paint as required.

Repairs and Maintenance:

- Repair damaged or worn gypsum board surfaces.
- Inspect and replace any defective parts of the gypsum board system.

Safety and Compliance:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure all work meets industry standards and building codes.




Skills Required:

Technical Skills:

- Basic knowledge of gypsum board installation techniques and materials.
- Ability to measure, cut, and install gypsum boards accurately.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in gypsum carpentry.

Manual Dexterity:

- Good hand-eye coordination and manual skills for precise work.

Problem-Solving:

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during installation and finishing.

Attention to Detail:

- High level of attention to detail to ensure all work is performed to a high standard.
