The starting annual salary for this part-time School Teacher position ranges from $8,842.83 to $15,50+.4+, with placement on the July 1, 2024 Teacher Salary Grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

This class is composed of guitar students of various abilities, including several beginners. The teacher may employ a variety of strategies including both direct instruction and student-guided learning. There is opportunity to use various online teaching tools to supplement/enhance instruction.
Education Experience
Bachelor of Fine Art with Major/Minor in Music
Demonstrated successful teaching experience guitar at the Secondary level
Secondary or middle teacher training with university level music training
Eligible for B.C. Certification
Satisfactory teacher evaluation and/or final practicum reports
Teaching Competencies
