About Us
Terra Nova Australia is a leading inbound tour operator specialising in group tours, tour series and guided tour programmes around Australia, with our main focus being on the European market.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced group consultant or junior wanting to start their career in travel to join our small but dedicated team on a full time basis.
About the role
As a Group Consultant, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of our coach tour business. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creating, quoting and arranging group itineraries
Liaising with suppliers, such as hotels, bus companies, train companies and airlines
Providing assistance while groups are in the country
Problem-solving and troubleshooting any operations errors that may occur
Preparing and issuing invoices, receipt payments and maintaining financial documents
About you
An enthusiastic, methodical and motivated person
You have a high degree of attention to detail, the ability to work independently and care about customer experience
Strong work ethic and desire to grow within the business
Excellent product knowledge of Australia
Experience with 'Tourplan' software would be an advantage
German language skills is an essential requirement (at least basic knowledge)
