Job Description
Graphic & Web Designer
What we are looking for
• Strategic and passionate designer with the ability to design across various mediums including print, digital and web.
• A creative individual that is also strategic in their thinking and able to come up with with design that is purposeful and relevant to the intended audience.
• Responsible for producing high-quality visual content for various digital and print platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Be a pioneer for the Social Gamma brand identity
• Create visually appealing and on brand designs for websites, landing pages, and web applications across both internal projects and client projects.
• Design marketing collateral, including brochures, banners, infographics, and social media graphics.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop design concepts that align with the brand's identity.
• Building some web pages using Wordpress
• Optimise web designs for responsive and user-friendly experiences.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure graphics and design is optimised
• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure modern and innovative designs.
• Ensure that all design work adheres to brand guidelines and visual standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or Web Designer.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and web design tools such as Wordpress
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
• Portfolio showcasing a variety of design work, including web design, print materials, and digital graphics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creative design.
• Some experience with other areas of design including photo retouching, video editing, illustration and animation is beneficial
To-do:
• Design strategic graphics for social media internally and for clients
• Edit reels and other video content internally and for clients
• Ensure all collateral is on brand
• Monthly Meetings with marketing department to improve sales assets and discuss content ideas
• Design internal documents
• Create new illustrations when necessary internally and for clients
• Create wireframes for websites internally and for clients
• Design pages assets for websites internally and for clients
• Create web pages using wordpress and plugins internally and for clients
