Job Description
UI /UX Designer:
Having at least 5+ year Experience
The UI UX Designer gathers and evaluates user requirements in collaboration with Product Managers. They use their skills to illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, or sitemaps. They also design graphic user interface elements like menus tab widgets.
For a UI/UX designer, no two workdays are the same. UI/UX designers have a wide range of activities to go through such as planning, mapping user journey, designing screens, research, etc. Let us take a look at some of the day-to-day responsibilities of a UI/UX designer:
Responsibilities
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images
Requirements and skills
• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer, Figma / XD, Coraldraw or similar role
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (Premiere Pro,
After Effects, Photoshop and basic knowledge of Illustrator).
• Portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Manipulate and edit video pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience, input graphics and sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs.
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
