Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer Intern will assist the graphic design team in creating visual assets and executing design projects. This internship provides an opportunity for hands-on experience in a professional design environment, where the intern will collaborate with the team to develop creative solutions and gain valuable industry knowledge. Support the production of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, posters, banners, and social media graphics.
Participate in the design and production of digital assets, including website graphics, email newsletters, and online advertisements.
Help maintain and organize the digital asset library, ensuring all files are properly labeled and archived.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and design best practices to contribute fresh ideas and inspiration to design projects.
Assist in the preparation of presentations and visual materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Follow brand guidelines and ensure consistency in all design outputs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and product development, to understand design requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Take feedback from the design team and make necessary revisions to design projects.
Stay up-to-date with the latest design software, tools, and technologies, and actively seek opportunities to enhance design skills.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or other industry-standard tools.
A strong portfolio demonstrating skills in layout design, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
Basic understanding of design principles and a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior designers.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends is a plus.
