Job description
Become a part of our team and help shape the future of a premier celebrity-owned streetwear brand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and sketch original design concepts for seasonal collections, including apparel, accessories, and footwear.
• Research and analyze current fashion trends, market needs, and competitor offerings to inform your design process and keep our collections relevant and competitive.
• Choose fabrics, materials, and color palettes that align with your designs, ensuring quality and suitability for the intended market.
• Create detailed technical sketches and specifications for production, including measurements, fabric types, and construction details.
• Collaborate with pattern makers and sample sewers to create prototypes and samples of your designs, overseeing adjustments and modifications as needed.
• Work with the production team to ensure that designs are accurately translated into finished products, meeting quality standards and deadlines.
• Ensure that all designs align with the company’s brand identity and aesthetic, contributing to a cohesive and recognizable brand image.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Experience: Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and previous work. Freshers can apply too.
Skills:
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and pattern making.
• Excellent creative and artistic skills with an eye for detail and a passion for fashion.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with team members and external partners.
