Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Design Execution:
• Design, produce, and finalize a variety of visual content for digital platforms (e.g., social media graphics, website banners, email newsletters, digital ads).
• Create and prepare files for print production (e.g., flyers, brochures, posters, packaging mock-ups) with an understanding of production specifications (bleeds, color modes, resolution).
• Execute minor updates and edits to existing brand materials, templates, and presentations.
• Brand Adherence and Consistency:
• Act as a steward of the brand, ensuring all visual materials strictly adhere to established brand guidelines, style guides, and design standards.
• Maintain and organize the company's digital asset library, ensuring files are properly named, tagged, and easily accessible.
• Collaboration and Concepting:
• Work closely with the Marketing, Content, and Sales teams to interpret project briefs and translate requirements into effective design solutions.
• Contribute creative input during brainstorming and concept development sessions.
• Develop basic layout concepts, prototypes, and mock-ups for review by senior staff.
• Review and Improvement:
• Receive and implement constructive feedback from Senior Designers and Art Directors to refine designs and improve overall quality.
• Manage personal workload to ensure multiple projects are delivered accurately and on time.
• Stay current on the latest graphic design trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience: 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience (may include a rigorous internship, freelance, or junior-level role).
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency (Expert-Level):
• Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Proficiency in creating production-ready files for both print (CMYK) and digital (RGB) applications.
• Core Design Skills:
• Strong understanding of fundamental design principles, including hierarchy, typography, color theory, and composition.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• A compelling online portfolio showcasing relevant work and technical skill.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale.
