About the Program

Start your career in specialist mental health nursing with one of Victoria’s leading public mental health services.

The RMH Graduate Mental Health Nurse Program is a two-year structured graduate program designed to support newly qualified nurses to consolidate clinical skills, build confidence and develop expertise in recovery-focused mental health care.

This two-year graduate program provides:

Supported clinical practice across inpatient and community settings
Dedicated study days and professional development
Mental health specific theoretical learning
Clinical rotations and multidisciplinary team experience
Support to complete a Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Mental Health Nursing in Year 2

You are:

A graduate Registered Nurse passionate about mental health nursing
Committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care
Motivated to learn and grow in a dynamic clinical environment
Able to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
