We are currently seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our Revenues and Benefits teams. You will be working collaboratively with our experienced team members, applying your excellent communication skills to achieve effective service delivery.
Your Role
This exciting opportunity is for the position of Government Revenue Collection Specialist, based at Howden House, with a hybrid working pattern. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Accurately administering Billing, Collection, and Recovery across teams and various income streams.
Effective collection and recovery of a range of local authority debts.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of maximising revenue throughout the recovery cycle.
Delivering exceptional customer service via multiple communication channels.
Your Requirements
To excel in this role, you will require:
An extensive understanding of Council Tax, Housing Benefits Overpayment & Sundry Debt.
Excellent I.T. skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, especially Excel and MS Word.
Prior experience of dealing with internal & external customers.
A strong focus on delivering customer-centric service, balanced with the needs of the service users.
