About the Role
As a key member of our government affairs team, you will be responsible for advancing VF Corporation's policy agenda before elected officials and government decision makers. This includes lobbying on product safety standards, environmental laws, sustainability initiatives, and other key issues affecting our business.
Your Responsibilities
- Present and advance VF's government relations agenda to key stakeholders
- Develop and implement effective lobbying strategies to influence regulation and legislation
- Build relationships with internal leaders and external partners to support advocacy efforts
- Monitor and track priority legislation to understand its impact on our business
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a proven track record in government affairs and public policy. You will need to have strong interpersonal and influencing skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in government affairs or a related field
BA/BS in Political Science, Public Affairs, or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
