Role purpose:
Events , Insights and Strategic Marketing Engagement is a marketing leadership role responsible for establishing VIBS as a partner of choice through strategic marketing programs to build and nurture relationships through innovative and business outcome driven engagement programs and through content based differentiation to influence customer buying behaviours across industries and segments.
This is driven on the back of driving the research and insights mandate for the enterprise Business.
The responsibilities include:
1. Research and insights
2. Events : On ground and Virtual
3. Strategic Marketing Engagements
Reach and engage new buyers, influencers and decision makers, building credibility in key industries
Responsible for revenue driven outcomes through strategic marketing initiatives for Large Enterprise customer segments of VIBS; .
Design and Orchestrate C Level engagement programs viz., Executive Sponsorship Program, Advisory Boards, Customer Councils and Industry councils
Deliver Sales Enablement content and define and manage innovation workshops
Business Planning & Insights – including Analyst engagements
Structure and run research and insights for ViBS along with Governance around : Market benchmarks, practices, insights, competitive benchmarks
Responsible for thought leadership and pre-eminence for VIBS through world class content marketing covering thought papers, blogs, category leading B2B content
Content creation for key senior stakeholders and their internal and external messages /Narrative
Manage team to deliver on key outcomes of Revenue and Relationships
Well defined calendar of programs driven with passion and operational intensity
Key accountabilities and decision ownership

Flagship Programmes: Setup and execute Thought leadership platforms such as Customer Advisory boards, industry councils that are differentiated through content, discourse and sharp business outcomes.
C Level Engagement: Design, launch and deliver at scale Account Based Marketing (ABM) programs for top tiered accounts. Partner with sales on Innovation workshops, C Level connect events through account based and annual calendar
Events and Engagements: Prepare and deliver customer focused sales content which help in consultative selling via industry deep dive kits, sales pitches, battle cards. Drive adoption of content using influence and smart approach.
Content Marketing: Build content marketing as a competitive edge for influencing b2B customer buying behaviour through a well curated, original and differentiated and innovative format based content
Insights and Research
Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:
More than 10years of relevant industry experience, of which at least 5+ years in B2B marketing and customer engagement
Strategic understanding of market and customer behaviour to build effective internal and external customer engagement programs
Strategic insighting, innovative thinking and execution mettle
Work through influence with sales leaders and front line teams to lead an integrated sales and marketing approach to achieve business outcomes.
Effective communication skills to persuade both internal teams and C level customers
Team management and leadership skills
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and MBA from reputed business school

Attributable Revenue/funnel and Relationships through ABM and C level engagements
Target driven delivery and adoption of sales enablement content (#verticals, #kits, #usage)
