Maintenance Engineer for Offset Printing Machines: Job location – Baddi (Himachal Pradesh), siliguri (West Bengal), bilad (Gujarat)
Job Overview: As a Maintenance Engineer specializing in offset printing machines, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation, functionality, and optimal performance of offset printing equipment. You will be tasked with performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and enhance overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Machine Inspection and Diagnosis:
• Conduct regular inspections of offset printing machines to identify potential issues.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems affecting machine performance.
2. Preventive Maintenance:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for all offset printing machines.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, calibration, and replacement of worn-out parts.
3. Troubleshooting and Repairs:
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and malfunctions.
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting to identify the root cause of issues.
• Execute timely and effective repairs, ensuring minimal production disruption.
4. Quality Control:
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure printed output meets established quality standards.
• Address any issues affecting print quality, registration, or color consistency.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of machine maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and replacements.
• Generate reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance costs.
6. Spare Parts Management:
• Keep an inventory of critical spare parts and consumables for offset printing machines.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of necessary components.
7. Training and Support:
• Provide training to machine operators on basic maintenance procedures.
• Offer technical support to operators and other staff as needed.
8. Safety Compliance:
• Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Identify and address safety hazards associated with machine operation and maintenance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
