Position Title: General Manager - Campus Hiring (BPO/BPM/Mass Hiring)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented General Manager - Campus Hiring to lead our strategic campus recruitment initiatives focused on bulk hiring Agent-level talent, specifically within the BPO/BPM industry. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing innovative campus hiring programs to meet our aggressive growth targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale campus hiring drives, building strong relationships with educational institutions, and optimizing the end-to-end recruitment process for high-volume hiring. You will also be responsible for developing and running strategic programs to attract and engage top talent from target campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategy Development Execution:• Develop and implement a comprehensive campus hiring strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives and talent needs, with a strong focus on Agent-level roles within the BPO/BPM sector.
• Design and execute strategic campus programs to build a strong employer brand and pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Develop innovative and scalable recruitment processes for mass hiring from campuses.
• Identify and target key educational institutions (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and others relevant for BPO/BPM talent) across India.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with university career services departments, faculty, and student bodies.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to ensure our campus hiring strategies remain competitive and effective.
• Bulk Hiring Management:
• Lead and manage end-to-end campus recruitment drives for bulk Agent-level hiring, including planning, sourcing, screening, assessments, interviews, and offer management.
• Develop efficient and effective assessment methodologies suitable for high-volume campus recruitment.
• Oversee the logistics and execution of on-campus and virtual recruitment events.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Program Management:
• Design and implement structured internship programs, graduate trainee programs, and other early career development initiatives.
• Manage the selection, onboarding, and initial training processes for campus hires.
• Track the performance and retention of campus hires and identify areas for program improvement.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers, HR business partners, and senior leadership, to understand hiring needs and ensure alignment.• Manage relationships with external vendors, including assessment providers and event management companies.
• Team Leadership Development:
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing campus recruitment team.
• Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
• Reporting Analytics:
• Track and analyze key campus hiring metrics (e.g., applications, interview-to-offer ratio, cost per hire, time to hire, quality of hire, retention).
• Prepare regular reports on campus hiring activities and outcomes for senior management.
• Utilize data and insights to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of campus hiring programs.
• Budget Management:
• Develop and manage the budget for campus hiring activities and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Compliance Employer Branding:
• Ensure all campus hiring activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Work closely with the employer branding team to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice on university campuses.
Qualifications Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 14+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a significant focus on campus recruitment and bulk hiring.
• Proven experience in designing and executing large-scale campus hiring programs, specifically for Agent-level roles within the BPO/BPM industry.Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Experience in leading and developing a team.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
• Willingness to travel as required for campus visits and recruitment events.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in implementing innovative campus engagement strategies like hackathons, case study competitions.
• Familiarity with psychometric assessments and other selection tools relevant for entry-level hiring.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
