Job Title: General Laborer – Warehouse/Events
Location: Las Vegas NV
Job Type: Temporary
MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY! Work this entire Weekend! Must get all onboarding completed ASAP! Must be able to work Friday +/13 thru Sunday +/15
About Us: We at SVS Group are hiring for our client that specializes in providing top-notch logistics and support for concerts and events. We are currently seeking hardworking and reliable General Laborers to join their team for the weekend.
Job Overview: As a General Laborer, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of warehouse and event setup processes. Your primary responsibilities will include unloading trucks, organizing and preparing equipment, and assisting with the setup and teardown. This position requires a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Unloading Trucks: Efficiently and safely unload equipment, materials, and supplies from delivery trucks and ensure items are accurately accounted for.
· Warehouse Organization: Assist with sorting and organizing inventory, including wires, cables, and other materials essential for events.
· Event Setup: Help with the setup of event spaces, including arranging and securing equipment, wiring, and other technical materials as per event specifications.
· Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse and event locations, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
· Collaboration: Work closely with management and other team members to ensure all materials and equipment are prepared and available.
· Problem-Solving: Address and communicate any issues related to inventory or setup in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse and/or event set up.
· Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to warehouse and event work.
· Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all materials and equipment are properly managed.
· Communication: Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
· Safety: Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures and guidelines in both warehouse and event settings.
· Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in a warehouse environment and on event sites, which may include exposure to various weather conditions and physical activity.
· May require working at heights or in confined spaces as needed for event setup.
