Duties
Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, including power tools and measuring instruments, ensuring optimal performance.
Assist with assembly line tasks, including mechanical assembly and the use of hand tools to build components accurately and efficiently.
Use forklifts and manual handling techniques to move materials and finished goods safely within the warehouse or production area.
Interpret technical drawings, production documents, and work instructions to ensure precise execution of tasks.
Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and ensure products meet specified standards.
Follow safety protocols rigorously, adhering to all safety standards in production environments and participating in safety training sessions.
Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions to enhance productivity and safety.
Skills
Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and safety standards.
Skilled in operating forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments with technical proficiency.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documentation, and production schedules accurately.
Mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical assembly and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies.
Experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams is a plus.
Capable of heavy lifting, manual handling, and working on an assembly line for extended periods while maintaining attention to detail.
