Job description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate General Duty Assistant (Female) to join our hospital team. Your primary role will be to assist nursing staff and provide basic care to patients to ensure their comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Mobility: Help patients move from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers; ****** them for X-rays, scans, or lab tests.
Personal Hygiene: Assist patients with basic hygiene tasks such as sponging, changing clothes, and bed-making.
Assistance to Nurses: Help nursing staff in monitoring vitals (temperature, pulse) and maintaining patient records.
Feeding Support: Provide timely meals to patients and assist those who cannot feed themselves.
Ward Maintenance: Ensure the patient’s immediate environment is clean, sanitized, and organized.
Sample Collection: Transport lab samples (blood/urine) to the laboratory and collect medical reports as directed.
