We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Associate General Counsel to join our family. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal advice on environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, litigation, and patent law.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure clarity and enforceability.
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal opinions.
Manage and oversee litigation processes, coordinate with external counsel, and develop strategies to mitigate legal risks.
Advise internal teams on compliance issues related to environmental regulations, immigration policies, land use laws, and tribal regulations.
Prepare detailed reports and legal memoranda that clearly communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations through continuous research and professional development. Experience
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdictions.
Proven experience in a law office or corporate legal department handling diverse practice areas including litigation, patent law, estate planning, environmental law, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated expertise in negotiation skills with vendors, clients, or regulatory bodies.
Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw for case law analysis and legal updates.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and precise legal drafting and administrative documentation.
Familiarity with legal administrative processes such as case management systems and document organization.
