About the Role
This role is vital to the maintenance and upkeep of departmental schools.
To be successful in the role you will need to have good planning and prioritising skills and good communication skills to work effectively with others.
You will perform a range of tasks relating to the routine maintenance and upkeep of a Departmental School/grounds. The role may assist with the set up and removal of furniture and equipment for school activities. You will identify and report maintenance and safety issues. You will receive, store and distribute supplies and monitor equipment and report faults.

Matraville Public School has an enrolment of 203 students. 74% of students are from a language background other than English, with approximately 38 different language groups represented within the school community. 8% of students identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. The school values and celebrates its diverse and inclusive community and has a warm and welcoming environment.
The school is situated on a large site which includes a hall and grass field. The school facilities are shared with a number of community groups which are attended by members of the wider community.
