Job Summary
We’re seeking a seasoned Ethnic Wear Designer with an eye for tradition and a flair for international markets. If you can weave contemporary charm into classic silhouettes and understand the pulse of global buyers, we want you on board.
Key Responsibilities
Design ethnic wear collections tailored for Brand (Domestic Brands)
Develop mood boards , trend reports , and seasonal storylines
Create tech packs , CADs , and garment specifications for sampling and production
Collaborate with merchandisers and production teams for design execution
Adapt styles based on buyer feedback , trend analysis, and market demand
Ensure consistency in quality , embellishments, and aesthetic across collections
Lead fittings and provide corrections before bulk approvals
Requirements
7–10 years in ethnic wear design , preferably with export houses
Strong portfolio showing creativity, technical precision, and commercial appeal
Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW , and relevant CAD software
In-depth knowledge of fabrics, embroideries, trims , and finishings
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
Freelancers should be reliable and skilled in independent project handling
