Gastroenterologist

Diagnose and treat patients with gastrointestinal (GI) conditions, including but not limited to IBS, IBD, liver diseases, pancreatitis, and GI cancers.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and other relevant procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and current medical standards.
• Provide comprehensive patient care from initial consultation through follow-up appointments.
• Educate patients and their families on GI conditions, treatment options, and preventive health practices.
• Manage chronic GI conditions through regular monitoring and ongoing care.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and departmental activities.
• Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology through continuous education and research.
• Participate in clinical research projects and contribute to scientific publications.
• Provide training and mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows.
