Job Description
Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to assist the Jr. Engineers of Bio Medical Engineering Department to carry on the various departmental tasks smoothly
Responsibilities and Duties
Check temperature, pressure, vacuum, level, gate walls flow rate, and transfer of gas to maintain processes at required level and to correct problems. Check the flow of pressure of air to feed boilers, furnaces, and related steam-generating or heating equipment and control pneumatic operated systems. To check the compressors function, nitrogen and oxygen flow and control any leeks daily. Day to Day check list must be provided to users about the operation of gases. Control operation of scrubbers, evaporators and maintain a record to ensure your performances properly. Distribute or process gas for utility using semi-equipment called Manifold. Monitor equipment functioning, observe temperature, level, and flow gauges, and perform regular unit checks, in order to ensure that all equipment is operating as it should in the wards and medical department. Test gas, chemicals, and air during processing to assess factors such as purity and moisture content, and to detect quality problems or gas or chemical leaks. Clean, maintain, and repair equipment, using hand tools, or request that repair and maintenance work be performed. Collaborated with other operators to solve unit problem. Check at humidifier bottles suction bottles regularly. Monitor transportation and storage of flammable and other potentially dangerous product to ensure that safety guidelines are followed. Maintain day to day records, review, operations records, test results, and gauge reading such as willing to work round the clock in any shifts assigned by your officer. Operate construction equipment to install and maintain gas distribution.
