Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an efficient Decorator with a strong work ethic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have good organizational skills and acute attention to detail. Experience with heat press or heat transfer preparation would be an asset but not imperative. Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs is a must.
There is room for growth in our small family business. We are able to incentivize retention for the right candidate.
Duties
Apply transfers to various garments using a heat press
Weeding / preparing transfers using computer and cutting software
Assembling hard goods such as name badges
Packing and unpacking shipped items to prepare for decoration
Folding garments
Maintain an organized workspace in the warehouse. ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Follow detailed instruction
Help with day to day tidyness of the shop
Interact with clients who drop off / pick up items
Skills
Proficiency in using a computer
Hard working
Positive attitude
Ability to double check instructions and ask questions if uncertain
Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with basic math
Willingness to learn
Good sense of humor (Laugh at my bad jokes)
Punctuality and timeliness
Ability to work at fast pace
