Role: Funding & Partnerships Manager
(With Responsibility to Train an Apprentice)
Organisation: ActivSkitz
Location: Remote / Work from Home
Type: Flexible (Part-time with growth to Full-time preferred)
Compensation: Modest salary + long-term growth opportunities

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Funding & Partnerships Manager to help ActivSkitz get off the ground and scale globally. This person will be responsible for securing funding, building sustainable financial pathways, and training an apprentice to grow alongside the organisation.
This role is ideal for someone who believes in social impact, enjoys strategic thinking, and wants to help shape something from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and manage funding opportunities (grants, investors, partnerships, sponsorships, and donations)
Develop and implement a funding strategy aligned with ActivSkitz’s mission
Prepare funding proposals, pitches, and applications
Build relationships with funders, partners, and stakeholders
Train, mentor, and oversee an apprentice to support funding activities
Report transparently on funding progress and outcomes
Work collaboratively with leadership to support long-term sustainability
Who You Are
Experience in fundraising, grant writing, partnerships, business development, or investment sourcing
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Passionate about social impact and challenging stigma
Comfortable working remotely and independently
Ethical, honest, and transparent in your approach
Interested in mentoring and developing others
Entrepreneurial mindset — excited by early-stage growth
