Fund Accounting Role - Fund Administration Services

Role Overview:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our team in Gurgaon/Gurugram. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely accounting and reporting of investment funds.
- You will work closely with other members of the fund accounting team, as well as with clients and auditors, to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your work will directly contribute to the efficient and transparent management of our clients' investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and monthly NAV calculations for assigned funds, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
- Reconcile fund accounting records with custodian statements and other third-party data sources to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and other applicable accounting standards for client review and distribution.
- Analyze fund performance and identify trends or anomalies, providing explanations and insights to management.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of fund audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls to safeguard fund assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the onboarding of new funds and clients, setting up accounting systems and procedures.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in fund accounting operations.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to perform NAV calculations and reconcile complex financial data.
- Proven expertise in preparing financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues.
- Experience with fund accounting software is preferred.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
