Are you a seasoned professional seeking a challenging opportunity to lead a high-performing team in fund accounting operations? We have an exciting role for you as a Fund Accounting Manager - Private Credit.
We're currently looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in private credit funds accounting, who can oversee all closed-ended fund accounting operations and work closely with clients' Fund Administrators, Relationship Managers, and Operations Heads.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in private credit funds, specifically within the financial services sector. Strong knowledge of credit fund structures, including Master-Feeder, SPVs, and Blockers, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee fund administrators and team members to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of fund accounting services.
• Manage multiple funds, including private equity credit funds.
• Handle complex P&L allocations across various entities within fund structures.
• Assist teams in performing waterfall calculations and ensuring their accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with operational procedures and checklists.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to team members.
• Oversee task allocation and delegation to optimize team efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within fund accounting operations.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics (or international equivalent).
• 15+ years of experience in fund accounting, with at least 5+ years in private credit funds accounting.
• Experience in private credit funds, specifically.
• Knowledge of credit fund structures, including Master-Feeder, SPVs, and Blockers.
• Hands-on experience with cash reconciliation, expense reimbursement, and loan accounting.
• Understanding of loan lifecycle, letter of credit, covenant tracking, and loan settlements.
• Knowledge of capital calls, distributions, and management fees.
• Understanding of net asset value computation for credit funds.
