Job Description
Chinook’s Edge School Division is accepting applications for a full-time temporary teaching position at Penhold Waskasoo Middle School (Grades 4–8, approximately 420 students), effective the first day of the 2026–2026 school year through to June 30, 2026. The successful candidate will take on a dual role: Student Support Lead (0.6 FTE) and Humanities Teacher (0.4 FTE). As Student Support Lead, the individual will support inclusive education, address diverse learning and complex needs, and lead school-wide social-emotional learning initiatives for both staff and students. This role involves close collaboration with all stakeholders to foster a calm, confident, and supportive school environment. In addition, the candidate will teach Middle School Humanities, including Language Arts and Social Studies. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant experience.
