Solid understanding of P&C Insurance processes and workflows
Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software development methodologies
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of scalable, high-performance insurance applications
Lead and mentored a team of Java developers in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level insurance applications
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and propose technical solutions
Develop and maintain Guidewire applications, including integrations with third-party systems
Ensure high code quality, security, and best practices in software development
Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for improved performance and scalability
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in P&C insurance and Java development

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Developer with expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance and Preferred background in Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter). This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of scalable, high-performance insurance applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentored a team of Java developers in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level insurance applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain Guidewire applications, including integrations with third-party systems.
