Job Description
Full-Time Motor Mechanic Required
We require an Australian qualified motor mechanic to work on our busy workshop at Royyals Automotives PTY LTD.
This role will require you to be able to work on your own or with a colleague. At times, you may have to help and work with junior mechanics to learn. You will be required to perform all mechanical repairs, maintenance and vehicle servicing. You will also need to know how to fit and balance tyres.
Location: We are situated at 11a Amberley Cres Dandenong South 3175.
This role is full-time with at least 38 years, with an annual salary of around $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 (plus Superannuation) depending on experiences and qualifications.
The applicant must have Certificate III or higher and more than two years of experience as a qualified motor mechanic.
Description of duties listed below (not exhaustive):
Checking mechanical problems in vehicles and servicing of vehicles and engines. Making notes for the customer for future periodical maintenance as per the service book.
Changing oil and filters, and lubricants of the vehicle and appliance in accordance with the service schedule set by the vehicle manufacturer.
Adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of vehicles, including fuel, steering system etc. and other specialized automotive repair equipment.
Making sure to repaid and replace worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components.
Ensure all the parts of the vehicle are reassembled after being repaired.
Able to test and adjust mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.
Tuning of engines to achieve desired results ensuring compliance with pollution regulation and checking unnecessary emission by using special electronic equipment and making fine adjustments for smoother running.
Conducting detailed battery check, cleaning battery terminal and testing battery.
Conducting safety checks on all vehicles before leaving the workshop.
Cleaning the workshop area, maintaining the tools and restocking the parts room.
