Full Time Housekeeper Job
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional housekeeper to assist a UHNW family in managing and maintaining their three properties located in central London. The housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all three homes, which are situated in the areas of Regent's Park, Battersea, and Knightsbridge.
Role Overview:
• Each property should be visited and maintained at least once per week, ensuring they are always kept in immaculate condition
• When the family is in residence (typically at one of the four properties), the housekeeper will be expected to offer flexible, hands-on support, including:
• Morning cleaning following the family’s wake-up
• Evening turn-down service, as required
• Laundry and wardrobe care, including steaming and handling delicate clothing
• Preparing simple breakfasts (e.g., fruit, eggs) only when the family’s chef is not present
• Assisting the household team with unpacking and packing of luggage as needed
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete upkeep, organisation, and presentation of each property
• Confident care of delicate and designer clothing
• Frequent wardrobe movement between properties, requiring the housekeeper to steam all clothing once it has been unpacked
• While certain items may be sent out to dry cleaners when dry-clean-only care is required, exceptional in-house laundry skills are essential
• Excellent ironing, folding, and linen care, including regular bed changing
• Making and serving morning coffee to the principals
• Preparing simple breakfasts (e.g. fruit, eggs) only when the family’s chef is not present
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Fluent or confident in spoken and written English
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Discreet and professional when the family is in residence, while remaining attentive and available
• Positive, friendly, and helpful attitude—happy to assist with anything required
• Tech-savvy – confident using smartphones and messaging apps to send/receive photos, provide quick updates, and share links for cleaning products or household items that may need to be ordered
• Previous experience in UHNW households is required
• Must be comfortable working with a dynamic and frequently changing schedule, including short-notice adjustments
